Cidade Velha - Santiago
The Limeira Hotel Resort is the newest hotel in Santiago to be opened, and stands next to the historical village Cidade Velha. A brief walk to the village will bring you to the oldest settlement of Cape Verde, which contains historical structures such as the slave poll and the oldest colonial church in the world. The village is well worth the visit. The Limeira Resort itself is only a 15-minute drive from the airport.
Approximately, the Resort contains 30 bedrooms, 2 suites, a bar area and restaurant, a gym along with a pool are all part of the hotel facilities. The resort also has 24-hour room service.
Most of the rooms will contain a mini bar, air conditioning, wireless Internet, a private bathroom and television. Typically, a family apartment will consist of 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and a bathroom.
