CLIMATE INFORMATION
Located in the Sahel zone, Cape Verde is a marine extension of the Sahara. Consequently, the islands benefit from a dry, moderate climate throughout the year. Rainfall is irregular and tends to arrive in short bursts between August and October.

Due to the mild climate of the archipelago light clothing is recommended. Pack an overcoat to wear at night (except July and August) or for trips into the mountains.
